WHAT YOU WILL DO?

  • Provide excellent nursing care which may include wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, tube feeding & medication administration, using your assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation and health teaching skills.
  • Work in the home health setting supporting clients and employees.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current RN / RPN Registration with the CNO and compliance with all applicable laws relating to nursing practice in Ontario.
  • Professional Liability Protection, CPR and First Aid, a Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector screening.
  • Be available to work every other weekend.
  • Participate in the on-call/after-hours rotation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Advanced wound care experience, an asset.
  • Palliative and symptom management knowledge and experience, an asset.
  • Experience in community nursing, an asset.
