POSITION SUMMARY:
Experienced Mature Registered Practical Nurse for 3 to 5 days in a mixed medical/surgical/cosmetic practise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current registration with the College of Nurse of Ontario required.
- Current BCLS/HCP certification required
- ACLS would be an asset
- Sales experience would be an asset
- Demonstrate ability to function to the full scope of nursing practice per the College of Nurse of Ontario.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with patients/clients, families.
- Communicate and collaborate with other members of the health care team.
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning, professional development, and continuous quality improvement.
- Basic skill level with computers, MS Word, Internet searches, data entry and patient information systems is helpful.
- Good work performance and attendance record is essential
- Enjoys learning new skill
- Thrives in a busy work environment
HOURS OF WORK:
Days 3-5 days/wk 8:45am – 5:15pm (+)
WAGE RATE:
Commensurate with experience
